Our Purpose
The Hidden Voices Project exists to reach as many children as possible with a beautiful, inclusive story and a creative classroom experience — giving every child the chance to own a free book, explore the Butterfly Building experience, and grow empathy and understanding for people who communicate or experience the world differently.
By introducing these conversations early, we help shape kinder attitudes before prejudice begins.
💛Why This Project Matters
Many children grow up without access to their own books, and even fewer encounter stories that gently explore difference, communication, and inclusion in a way they can truly connect with.
We believe empathy grows when it is nurtured early.
When children experience difference through stories and creativity, they learn:

• Curiosity instead of fear
• Openness rather than assumptions
Stories paired with hands-on creative experiences help children not only hear about difference — but feel it, explore it, and connect with it in playful, positive ways.

The Hidden Voices Project is funded through sponsorship.
Local businesses, organisations, and community supporters sponsor classroom packages so schools receive:
